In the Internet Age the vast majority of Allcan’s suppliers have made available a wealth of online tools and resources to enable the consumer to educate themselves like never before. From specs to white pages, case studies to customer profiles, blogs to tutorials, it has become increasingly easy for the end user to find significant, pertinent information to steer them in their decision making process.

PanaVise is a major manufacturer of precision vices, circuit board holders, work holding tools and mini arbor presses. They also design and manufacture mobile electronics mounts for hands-free kits, GPS units, satellite radio receivers, mobile video screens, two-way radios, and mobile data terminals — if it’s electronic and mobile, they can hold it!

PanaVise has a particularly effective online tool for their InDash Custom Dash Mounts line of products. The InDash Mount Selector Tool offers three criteria to find the specific product for your vehicle:

  1. Find By Vehicle Brand: The Selector Tool has a dropdown menu listing every major vehicle and heavy equipment manufacturer. Once your selection is made you are taken to a list page listing specific model’s, years, part number, as well as an InDash Area Legend, InDash Side Location Legend, and a Final Installation Image.
  2. Find By Part Number: The Selector Tool has an entry field that accepts full or partial part numbers, enabling you to go directly to the part you’re looking for, including the InDash Area Legend, InDash Side Location Legend, and a Final Installation Image.
  3. New Or Updated: If you’re searching for a relatively new part number, the Selector Tool offers a search based on recent updates with the ability to select “New or Updated in the Last 60 Days” or New or Updated in the Last 120 Days”, including the InDash Area Legend, InDash Side Location Legend, and a Final Installation Image.

Allcan would like to encourage you to check out PanaVise’s InDash Mount Selector Tool. The information provided there is an excellent starting point for the decision making process regarding InDash Custom Dash Mount purchases. While the resources therein are excellent, Allcan is also available to answer any questions you might have, and are happy to help in any way we can. Also, stay tuned for my next post on using online tools!
